DANIEL MICHAEL SOK
Daniel Michael Sok is a keyboardist, pianist, producer, and composer with decades of experience in the international music and media industry. His musical focus lies in combining contemporary sound, stylistic versatility, and technical precision—always with the aim of creating music that is emotional, impactful, and authentic.
After studying at the Conservatory in Enschede (Netherlands), he quickly established himself as a sought-after musician and producer. His talent was recognized early on: in 1990, he won first prize at the Yamaha Music Festival, laying the foundation for his professional career.
Under the name DS Productions, Daniel Michael Sok creates music for a wide range of media formats—from film scores, trailers, jingles, and commercials to songwriting, music productions, and live performances. His approach is always the same: to craft music that enhances visuals, strengthens brands, and delivers emotion with precision.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous national and international artists, including Peter Schilling, Cutting Crew, Bonnie Tyler, Kim Wilde, Johnny Logan, David Garrett, Chris Thompson, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, Marianne Rosenberg, Julia Neigel, T’Pau, George McCrae, Malcolm “Molly” Duncan (Average White Band), as well as many other artists from the worlds of pop, rock, and entertainment.
In addition to working with artists, Daniel Michael Sok has been active in film and television production for many years. His music productions and contributions have been featured in programs and productions for ZDF, WDR, RTL, VOX, BR, including the ZDF heute-show, Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS), and Space Night.
As a musician and producer, he stands for stylistic openness: pop, rock, electronic music, orchestral soundscapes, and modern film music are not opposites to him, but creative tools. His goal is to give every project its own musical identity—clear, professional, and distinctive.
Music is our passion.
This guiding principle not only defines the work of DS Productions, but also reflects the attitude with which Daniel Michael Sok has successfully navigated the worlds of stage, studio, and media production for many years.
